Asheville, NC (November 26, 2024) – Asheville Media Group (AMG) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Santa Pal Toy Drive. Sponsored by Asheville Holistic Dentist, the Santa Pal Toy Drive benefits a cherished community organization dedicated to spreading holiday joy.
With a remarkable legacy of over 85 years, the Asheville Optimist Club’s Santa Pal program continues to bring smiles and happiness to children and families in the Asheville area. This year the need to spread joy is greater than ever as many families continue to face challenges on all fronts in the wake of Hurricane Helene. AMG invites community members to participate in making this holiday season special for the hundreds of children and families Santa Pal will serve through the program this year.
The Santa Pal Toy Drive officially kicks off on December 2 and will run through December 11. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at designated Asheville area locations. Santa Pal has also requested donations of new coats and blankets for children ages 2-12.
Every donation brings a moment of joy and a lasting memory to a child and is greatly appreciated.
How to Donate
Donate new, unwrapped toys, coats & blankets: Community members can drop off donations at any of the participating drop off locations, starting December 2:

Drive Thru Donations: To make donations as convenient as possible, we invite the community to join AMG radio stations Mix 96.5 (WOXL-FM) and 98.1 The River (WOXL HD2) for a drive thru donation day on Saturday, December 7 from 11am – 3pm at the following locations
